Decorative Lamp Bases

Decorative lamp bases for the festive season to add beauty and grace to your pooja.

This lamp base is a glass painting between 2 OHP sheets highlights the lamp placed on it.  Painted with vibrant colors of yellow, green, red, pink, etc. catches anyone's eye towards it.

The acrylic stone lamp base covers the bottom portion of the kuthuvilakku.  With a collage of different shaped and sized kundan stones, it surely makes the decor grand.

The Golden star already in another post is added here to show the different types of lamp bases that we create to add grandeur to the festival decor.

The Golden Star

This Golden Star suits well as a lamp (kuthuvizhakku) base and adds grandeur to the festive occasion.  Made of a rexin material and kundan stones, it is easy to maintain it.  You can just clean off the dirt/dust with a clean or wet cloth as needed.  This size suits for a lamp with base of around 10 to 11 cm in diameter.  It can as well be customized to any size.  The Golden Star also serves best as a table decor with a bowl of water plus flowers on it.

Star as a lamp base

This photo is from one of my friends in Bangalore who used this as the Gokulashtami decor to seat her cute little Krishna.

One of my cousins used it as a prabhavali for the Gowri during Varalakshmi pooja.  Great ideas indeed!!
